Strawberry huller questions
How do you use a strawberry huller?
Push the huller's tips into the top of the strawberry around the green cap, squeeze to grip the stem and core, then twist and pull. The leaves, stem and white core come out in one piece.
What else can I use a strawberry huller for?
Tomato cores and stems, pineapple eyes, potato eyes and blemishes, and pulling pin feathers. It is also handy for pulling stems from cherries and grapes.
Is a strawberry huller better than a knife?
It is faster and wastes less fruit. A knife cuts away the whole top; the huller removes only the stem and core, so more berry is left for jam and freezing.
Is the strawberry huller dishwasher safe?
It is all stainless steel. Wash by hand or in the dishwasher and dry well.
